Willow-May stands by the carriage stop by the old Gurney stone wall every Wednesday. The Carriage to take her west is always 72 mins late, but she doesn’t mind. Many odd and wonderful beings join her in her wait. More often than not, the midday showers break through the sky. All these creatures love the rain very much. Some creatures don’t even need to get a carriage. They come to the Gurney Wall just because the sky breaks, particularly wonderfully just over that spot. It’s become such a regular occurrence that the Spillow Birds think Willow May is the perfect resting spot to catch the midday showers. ….. ( Inspired by the many minutes spent waiting for busses that never arrive)
