When the light waivers, the sun rests heavy behind the horizon and all feels dark. The winter rolls through, either in season or through the cold hands of long days and tired minds. A candle is lit, and then another. We sit and listen and watch the flickering flame on a breeze that trickles through. Creatures of all kinds gather to share the warmth of the light that’s held within, and the light we may share. Inspired by the darkest days and the light that finds a way. Stories and songs are shared and candles for the dark.
